Fitness Superfoods – Spinach
Spinach contains plenty of fibre and vitamin K and is known as a rich source of iron. Contrary to the “Popeye” myth spinach doesn’t contain the most iron compared with green vegetables, although spinach still has larg nutritional values, especially (as with all vegetables) when steamed or quickly bolied.
Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese, folate, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin B2, calcium, potassium, and vitamin B6. It is a very good source of dietary fiber, copper, protein, phosphorous, zinc and vitamin E. In addition, it is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, niacin and selenium. (© Wikipedia)
All in all a good fitness food to be eating along with a wholesome meal, it’s simple to prepare and makes for a healthy meal.
What is BMI?

Simply, BMI provides a simple numeric measure of a person's "fatness" or "thinness", allowing health professionals to discuss over- and under-weight problems more objectively with their patient, and plan specific training programs geared to your targets, either bulking up, or slimming down.

Eat and lose weight - best fat-burning foods!
Many foods have the ability to speed up the process of fat burning and weight loss. Some are better than others. Below you'll find a list of 5 of them.

3. 100% Whole Wheat and Whole Grain Products Breads and grains are a really important part of healthy diet but the rule is they must be 100% whole grain and whole wheat. It's better to give up bread than eat bread/pasta made from processed, bleached flour with no nutritious value!
4. Green Vegetables and Fresh FruitYes, yes, eat your 5 a day, or more and you are bound to loose those love handles! Green vegetables have very little calories and huge amount of nutritionist value. Whole and fresh fruits are filled with vitamins that will keep you healthy, energized and burning fat all day long.
5.Chicken and Turkey Breast Chicken and turkey are great for protein in ones diet. Remember: remove the skin and don't go KFC on them :)
